A PGA-Based Matrix Supports Regeneration of Cartilage

The cell-free implant CHONDROVEIL™ is a non-woven 3x3 cm biodegradable Poly Glycolic Acid (PGA)-based scaffold for hyaline-like cartilage regeneration. It relies on proliferation and differentiation potential of mesenchymal progenitor cells from the subchondral bone after microfracture or from bone marrow aspirate.
